Creating a National Nonprofit to Address the Opioid Epidemic

About

SeventyX7 is a pair of national nonprofits created to address Opioid Use Disorder through public policy reform, recovery advocacy, and systems-level solutions. The organization was founded in partnership with Dr. Stephen Loyd, a nationally recognized addiction treatment and recovery expert.

Client

Imperium partnered with Dr. Loyd to build SeventyX7 from inception, launching both a 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organization. Our role encompassed full organizational strategy, messaging, digital infrastructure, and national positioning.

Challenge

The organization needed to establish instant credibility in a crowded and emotionally charged public policy environment while navigating nonprofit formation, regulatory compliance, and early-stage fundraising. At the same time, it had to translate a complex healthcare crisis into durable, actionable policy solutions.

Results

Imperium delivered foundational messaging, brand identity, website, and social presence to support national growth. SeventyX7 launched with a clear narrative, active fundraising operations, and a growing bipartisan coalition prepared to advance opioid policy reform.
